 Preservation 
The 2005 Burkittsville event is cosponsored by The Friends of South Mountain State Battlefield, the South Mountain Heritage Society, and the town of Burkittsville. All profits from the event will be donated to the preservation and interpretation of the South Mountain Battlefield and Hospital "D" and to the improvement of Burkittsville's Guyton Park.
